Dapper Tan Herringbone Vest
A tailored, tan-colored vest made from fabric featuring a subtle herringbone pattern, complete with a notched lapel. It fastens down the front with five visible buttons and includes three functional welt pockets: two at the waist and one on the left breast.
It is a widely held sartorial tradition to leave the bottom button of a vest unbuttoned, a quirk reportedly started by King Edward VII who found his waistcoats too tight and simply stopped buttoning the lowest one. This seemingly simple act of comfort was then emulated by his subjects and later popularized by the Prince of Wales, cementing it as an enduring fashion custom.
